Testing Policies And Procedures
TESTING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19:
1. You will not be allowed to test if tested positive for COVID-19 unless been symptom-free and fever-free;
2. You will not be admitted to the test center and should reschedule if currently experiencing one or more associated flu-like symptoms like shortness of breath, cough, fever, chills, sore throat and loss of smell;
3. You will not be admitted to the test center and should reschedule if living with or have had close contact with someone who has confirmed or suspected COVID-19;
4. You will be required to provide a temperature check upon arrival.
You will be asked to acknowledge that you meet the above health requirements and that you will follow health and safety guidelines while testing.
You must bring and wear your own face mask while you are at the test center and throughout your exam duration. Candidates without a face mask will not be allowed to test. We are unable to provide face masks to candidates.
We are allowing candidates to wear disposable gloves during testing. We shall inspect the gloves both before and after the exam, and the gloves will be disposed of in front of the proctor upon completion of the test.
Candidates will be required to stay six (6) feet away from other people in the waiting area and during the admissions process
OVERVIEW.
In our testing locations ,we administer tests to numerous clients with different rules, regulations and policies. As a testing center we have summarized these various rules, regulations and policies to incorporate every candidate testing in our centers. The various are identified below for every candidate.
IDENTIFICATION POLICY
You are required to present an identification, which must contain a recent photograph. Your identification must bear your signature, government issued and must not be expired. If you do not present acceptable identification, you will not be allowed to take your examination and you will forfeit all examination fees. Examples of acceptable identification are as follows: Passport, U. S. Passport Card,U.S. Military ID, Government-Issued Driver’s License, U.S. Dept. or State government issued Driver’s License, U.S. Learner’s Permit, National/State/Country Identification Card, Alien Registration Card (Green Card, Permanent Resident Visa), Government-Issued local language ID (plastic card with photo and signature) etc or as required by your test sponsor.
RESCHEDULING /CANCELLATION POLICY
We have different cancellation policies depending on the vendor you are testing with. If you miss your appointment, or cancel without rescheduling, you may be charged the full price of your appointment.
All rescheduling requests should be directed to your exam vendor according to the email confirmation you received when you scheduled your test.

There will be no refund of scheduling fees for any reason, including but not limited to:
DURATION OF YOUR TEST
The duration of your test is specified by your institution or organization. It is not how long it takes you to complete your test.

PARKING:
Parking facilities are free and available at the building site parking lot. Arrive early to allow time to park. All vehicles parked in and around our building premises are parked at the owners' risk and we are not responsible if the vehicle gets damaged, stolen or article kept inside is found missing.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
• Smoking is NOT permitted in the examination site.
• Food, mints, chewing gum and beverages are NOT allowed in the examination area.
• All personal items are prohibited inside the test room including purses, books, notebooks, other papers, all electronic equipment/materials (i.e. cell phones(MUST BE POWERED OFF AND PLACED IN THE LOCKER-NO EXCEPTIONS), mp3 devices, iPod, iPad, mobile tablets, pdas, recording devices, paging devices, cameras, etc.), book bags, outerwear (coats, jackets, scarves, hoodies, hats, etc.), firearms, knives, weapons, briefcases, reading material, calculator, umbrellas, pencils, pens, keys (except test center locker keys), erasers, watches, and wallets etc. will NOT be allowed in the exam room unless approved by the test sponsor and must be left outside of the exam room AT YOUR OWN RISK. NO CLOTHING MATERIAL CAN BE HANGED ON THE CHAIR INSIDE THE TEST ROOM UNLESS PERMITTED BY THE TEST SPONSOR.
• The proctor will provide a dry erase board and marker for making notes or a piece of scratch paper and a pencil or nothing as per the policy of your exam sponsor. No items or papers may be removed from the testing center. You may NOT bring your own scratch paper, etc.
• Friends and relatives, including children, will NOT be allowed to wait in the testing center.
• Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to ambient noise. If you choose to bring earplugs, they will be subject to examination by the testing Proctors. STUDYING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE TESTING CENTER
• Our testing facility offer exam services to multiple agencies. There may be other individuals in the testing room with you who are sitting for exams from different organizations. The rules for their exam may be slightly different than the rules for your exam in terms of exam time, and what is and is not allowed at their station.
PROHIBITED ITEMS:
Candidates are expressly prohibited from bringing personal items and the following items to the test site. You will not be allowed to take anything into the testing room with you. The test center will not be responsible for any personal items you bring, and suggest that you leave such items at home, stored in your vehicle, or in another safe place of your choosing. These items include but are not limited to:
• cameras, cell phones(MUST BE POWERED OFF AND PLACED IN THE LOCKER-NO EXCEPTIONS), optical readers, or other electronic devices that include the ability to photograph, photocopy or otherwise copy test materials,
• notes, books, dictionaries or language dictionaries,
• book bags or luggage,
• purses or handbags,
• iPods, mp3 players, headphones, electronic bracelets, or pagers etc.
• calculators (except as expressly permitted by the test sponsor , computers, PDAs, or other electronic devices with one or more memories etc.
• personal writing utensils (i.e., pencils, pens, erasers, and highlighters) etc.
• watches, wallets, chap sticks and tissue papers etc.
• food and beverage, chewing gum, mints and sweets/candies etc.
• Coats, scarves, keys, and jackets etc.
• Hats, hoods, or other head wear are not permitted in the examination room unless required for religious purposes. All items are subject to inspection by the proctor if suspicious behavior is detected.
REPORTS:
Kindly note that reports will be filed and sent to your test sponsor if the following prohibited items and instructions are not followed.
EMERGENCIES:
Exceptions to the cancellation/reschedule policy may be made in the event of a substantiated medical emergency or death in the family. Please contact Metro Testing Service directly at (203) 672-5758 or 203-658-3702 for assistance during our regular office hours.
CHEATING:
Cheating is prohibited in the Testing Center. Any attempt to copy and/or distribute test material, and /or attempt to get answers from the internet, software programs, hard copy materials, other test takers, etc. is strictly prohibited.
It will be considered a breach of testing policy if you possess any documents and/or electronic devices (including cell phones) or access a non-testing website while inside the testing room. Any breach in testing policies may result in your immediate dismissal. Your test materials will be collected, you will not be permitted to complete your exam, and you will be instructed to leave the test center at that time. An incident report will also be sent to your Exam sponsor, documenting your behavior. As a result your exam may be invalidated, your exam sponsor may take other action such as disqualifying you, and you will not be refunded your exam fees.
CREATING A DISTURBANCE:
Disruptive behavior in any form will not be tolerated. The test supervisor has sole discretion in determining what constitutes disruptive behavior. The test supervisor is authorized to dismiss from the test center any test taker who creates a disturbance.
WHAT TIME TO ARRIVE AT THE TESTING CENTER :
Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in procedures. If you are late in arriving, you will not be allowed to test and will forfeit your testing fees.
BREAK POLICIES:
Break policies are established by the exam sponsor. Some exams may include scheduled breaks, and instructions will appear on the computer screen at the appropriate time; whether or not the exam timer stops depends on the sponsor’s policy. Absent these sponsors break policies, you are not allowed as a testing center policy to access your locker during break. During breaks you are not allowed to leave the building vicinity or use your phone unless specifically permitted by your test sponsor. If you take an unscheduled break at any other time, the exam timer will not be stopped. The administrator will always allow you to take a break. Frequent breaks like more than 3 times may be reported as an incident to the exam sponsor. When leaving for a break you will take your ID with you. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED DURING ALL TEST SESSIONS WITHIN AND AROUND THE TEST CENTER VICINITY. The administrator will check your ID before you return to your seat to continue your exam. If you brought food, drinks or medicine, they should be kept outside of your locker to be taken during break as you will not be allowed to use your locker during break.
THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO RESCHEDULE YOUR TEST WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE EITHER FOR A DIFFERENT TIME OR DAY.
YOUR PRIVACY:
Your exam results will be encrypted and transmitted to the exam sponsor if computer based and sent to your sponsor if paper based. The testing center does not keep any information other than when and where your exam was taken. - Failure to respond to reschedule.
